Photos

Let's give this another try, shall we?

Hopefully this will work...

These first four are a touch blurry so it is not your eyesight going bad or age creeping up on us.

This wasn't our best ride and although she is a little strung out in some shots and being a tad evasive in others, for the most part- it is what it is. Feel free to pick out the good, the bad and the otherwise in the photos and post them in the comments. We still have plenty to work on, one thing being consistency... but we are getting there. Or trying to!

  1. Yay! Pictures! I'm sure she was probably one of the horses you introduced me to that day I visited your place, but I couldn't remember what she looked like. Pretty. Your blog dimensions aren't supporting the photo dimensions, but we can click on a photo and the full frame shows up.

    1. She was next to the pasture in the 3 big stalls. She's the 16.2h ginormous horse and her first foal is a bay mare that turned out 17.3h

    1. And there will be abismal rides like last Saturday, good rides like Sunday and rides like tonight that start of not so good, but you ride thru it and get it right at some point and quit there. Eventually the good rides will become more frequent but it doesn't happen overnight.

  3. No, the good rides don't happen overnight. Even when they are willing, it just takes time for their bodies to come into condition. :-)

    1. Not just their bodies but their brains too! And some days you get one or the other, neither or both... *sigh*

    1. She can be really forward when she wants to be... Last night there were a few times I thought we may be cantering. As long as she is not racing around losing her mind- if she wants to break into a canter/lope, then fine. I can handle that.
